Abstract (EN)

This research work about "Comparative Advantage" and "Competetive Advantage" of nations in international trade. The concept of international competitiviness is often used in analyzing countries macroeconomic performance. Capacity for technological innovation, the quality of the products and value of after sales service are all factors that may influence a country's trade performance. For this reason, measuring competitiveness is very important. In this paper, we analyzed the level of competitiveness and comparative advantages of Turkey manufacturing industry. We fallow Liesner and Balassa's measured as a variant of "Revealed Comparative Advantage" (RCA) index. According to RCA index, Turkey has a comparative advantage in woven-clothing-food, drink-tobacco, rubber, soil and forest products.
