Analysis of security insight and economic relations in international system within the context of energy resources and the case of caspian region

VI ABSTRACT For the period after the cold war era, there has been a change towards an understanding in which powerful nations can not do everything they want with army forces but only economic growth and future can make a nation to effectively direct the international system. In this framework, it can be stated that conflicts at the international level stem from the challenge of sharing scarce resources, and economic resources and security strategies about protecting these resources are as important as military resources in sustaining the power of a country. In the first party theoretical constructs are researched and when dealing with theoretical framework of the international system. In addition when making a conceptual analysis about international reactions system, some conditions are mode about security constructs of the international policies of the powerful nations after the world wars. Second part which includes the security constructs analysis of the post cold war period consists of two sub-parts. In the first sub part, analyses about constructs that are brought by cold war era decline are made. The second sub-part of the study deals whit researches about how international hegemony tries to control energy resources after the gulf wars and 1 1 th of September. In the third part of the study, an economic analysis of the concept of energy is made, energy resources are analyzed historically and the process up to now is examined. The positive relationship of the economics growth whit energy resources is tried to be proved by detailed graphics and tables. Finally in the fourth part a comparative an analysis is made about current potential of Caspian energy resources and world need levels and the status of Caspian Area in developing its resources and transporting the products to the consumers is dealt with together whit pipeline problems. Three important countries that are important in terms of Caspian energy resources namely in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan are taken into consideration in terms of energy resources transportation problems of these resources, and energy-political challenge about the subject.
