Abstract (EN)

The general purpose of this study is to examine whether the attachment styles of university students significantly predicted their psychological well-being and whether psychological well-being significantly differentiated in terms of demographic variables. 584 university students studying in Turkey voluntarily participated in the study. 511 of the participants in the survey were female and 73 were male students. Data were obtained using Attachment Styles Scale, Psychological Well-being Scale, and Demographic Information Form. Considering the analysis result, a low-level significant negative correlation was found between the total score of the attachment styles scale and the psychological well-being scale. Considering the relationship between the sub-dimensions of the attachment styles scale and the psychological well-being scale, a moderate positive correlation was found between the "secure attachment" sub-dimension and the psychological well-being scale.A low level of significant negative correlation was found between the & quot;avoidant attachment" sub-dimension and the psychological well-being scale. A moderately significant negative correlation was found between the & quot;anxious indecisive attachment" sub-dimension and the psychological well-being scale. The research findings were evaluated within the framework of the literature.
