The examination of the relationship between internet addiction, loneliness level and anger in university students

The subject of this study is the examination of the relationship between internet addiction, loneliness level and anger in university students. In the study, internet addiction will be identified amongst university students, and it will be tried to determine whether there is a relationship between internet addiction, loneliness and anger. The aim of the dissertation is to predict whether there is a significant relationship between internet addiction, loneliness, and anger among university students considering the data obtained. In accordance with this purpose, a questionnaire application was conducted with 153 university students who reside in Istanbul. According to the research results, the increase in university students' internet addiction level, increases their state trait anger level, and loneliness levels decrease as internet addiction levels increase, and as state trait anger levels increase, the loneliness levels decrease. In addition, it was determined that university students who use the internet every two days have higher loneliness and university students who use the internet every three days and less have the lowest level of loneliness. While the loneliness levels of university students are affected, their anger, anger-out, anger-in, anger control and internet addiction levels are not affected. It has been determined that the level of state trait anger and anger control, internet addiction and loneliness are not affected while their state trait anger and anger-out levels are constantly affected.
