Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of this research is to determine the psychological resilience levels of university students. Another aim of the study is to determine whether the psychological resilience levels of university students differ according to educational, social and personal factors. In the study, psychological resilience was taken as dependent variable, while educational, social and personal factors were taken as independent variables. When it aimed to determine the level of the dependent variable and how the dependent variable differs to the independent variables, the research was carried out by relational screening method. Of the individuals participating in the study, 681 (69.9%) were female and 293 (30.1%) were male. Of the participants, 449 (46.1%) were between the ages of 18 and 20, 483 (49.6%) were between the ages of 21 and 23, and 42 (4.3%) were 24 years of age or older. The universe of the research consists of students studying at Sakarya University. Participants were reached on a voluntary basis with appropriate sampling method. In the study, the data were obtained with personal information form (KBF) and Psychological Resilience Scales. The data were analyzed by t test and ANOVA analysis methods in independent groups. Appropriate statistical package program was used for the analysis of the data. As a result of the analyzes; The psychological resilience levels of university students are moderate. The psychological resilience levels of female students in college are significantly higher than those of the students. The levels of psychological resilience of university students differ depending on age. This difference is in the form of a decrease in psychological resilience as we age. According to the order of preference for the vocational education program, it was found that the psychological resilience levels of the students differed. It can be said that doing a job with love increases psychological resilience. The psychological resilience levels of university students who are satisfied with the vocational training program they are studying are higher than those who are dissatisfied. Students who are satisfied with the university have a high level of psychological resilience.
