Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the psychological well-being of university students in terms of differentiation of the self. This study is structured as a descriptive research using relational survey model. The sample of this research consisted of 395 university students (263 female, 132 male) attending Buca Faculty of Education at Dokuz Eylul University. In this research Psychological Well-being Scale, General Health Questionnaire-28, Differentiation of Self Inventory and to collect information about demographic variables Personal Information Form developed by the researcher were used. Depending upon the types of data, Independent Samples T-Test, Correlation Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis were used to analyze the variables. In this study it is found that there were significant relationships between psychological well-being, general health level and differentiation of self; there were significant gender differences between research variables; differentiation of self was a significant predictor of psychological well-being and general health level.
