Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to evaluate the effects of the quality of the perceived romantic relationship on marriage relationship belief of the senior students currently having a romantic relation or have experienced a romantic relation before evaluation. The samples of the study consist of randomly selected a total of 415 students including senior students studying at Selçuk University in 2018-2019 academic year.Relationship Quality Scale-and "Marriage Relationship Belief Scale" were applied with the questionnaire including socio-demographic features in the study. Average, standard deviation, median, minimum and maximum values, percent, correlation analysis and regression analysis tests were used on the data obtained from the research. While there was significant difference between perceived pomantic relationship quality scale and the faculty they attend and income status of the family, there was no significant difference between gender, family type, parent education status, working status of mother, family income status, duration of using media tools. While there was significant relationship between marriage relationship belief scale and gender, and father learning status, there was no significant difference between the faculty attended, family type, education status of mother, working status of mother, family income status and duration of using media tools. No statisticaly significant difference was found between e between two scales used in the study. The data obtained from this study were coded by the researcher and was transferred to SPSS 25.0 package computer program and the required analysis was performed in this program.
