The data were collected through Sociodemographic Information Form, Technology Addiction Scale, Difficulty in Emotion Regulation Scale and Sociotropy-Autonomy Scale. ANOVA, Independent Sample T-Test, Pearson Correlation Analysis, Simple Linear Regression Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis were used to analyze the data. According to the findings of the study, a significant positive relationship was found between technology addiction and emotion dysregulation and sociotropic personality traits. A significant positive relationship was found between difficulties in emotion regulation and sociotropic personality traits and a significant negative relationship was found between autonomic personality traits. Impulse and non-acceptance, which are sub-dimensions of emotion dysregulation, and sociotropic personality traits were found to have a significant positive predictive effect on technology addiction. It was also found that the total score of difficulties in emotion regulation had a significant positive effect on technology addiction. In addition, it was observed that there were significant relationships between some demographic variables and basic variables.
