Abstract (EN)

This study aims to examine university students' leisure attitudes and healthy lifestyle behaviors. It has been tried to examine whether university students' leisure attitudes and healthy lifestyles differ in terms of some variables. The population of the research consists of 600 students studying at the Muş Alparslan University Faculty of Sports Sciences. The sample of the study consists of 289 volunteer students. Personal Information Form, Leisure Attitude Scale and Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors Scale (HLBS) were applied to the participants. The data obtained from the scale were evaluated with the SPSS statistical package program and frequency, percentage, t test for pairwise comparisons and ANOVA test for multiple comparisons were applied. The significance level was taken as p<0.05.The scale scores of the students participating in the research in terms of gender were compared with the independent sample T test. There was no statistically significant difference between the genders of the participants and the sub-dimensions of the leisure time attitude and healthy lifestyle behaviors scale. It was observed that the average scores of the students aged 23 and above in the behavioral and cognitive sub-dimensions were higher than the other age groups. As a result; It can be seen that there is no difference between the genders of the students, their attitudes towards leisure time and healthy lifestyle behaviors, and that students aged 24 and over have better interpersonal relationships than younger students, and it can be seen that there is not a significant difference in the attitudes and healthy lifestyle behaviors of students studying in different departments.
