The study is a non-experimental quantitative research study and the sampling was 887 undergraduate students 489 of whom were female and 398 were male in 2015-2016 academic year at Atatürk University. To determine the university students' attitudes towards the use of technology "Technology Attitude Scale" developed by Yavuz (2005) was used. To analyze the data, SPSS 21.00 statistical program was employed. To determine the demographic features of the subjects, frequency distribution, one of the types of descriptive statistics was conducted, and to investigate the attitudes towards the use of technology by means of two independent variables T-test and in terms of more than two variables One-Way ANOVA test as two of the inferential statistical procedures were used. The significant difference between the variables was interpreted at the level of 0.05. According to findings, there is a significant difference between the individuals' attitudes towards technology use and gender, academic program, age, social status, mother's educational level, after school time spending options, purpose of sport, sport activities done. However, no difference was seen in terms of computer possession, department, monthly income level, father's educational level, residence, school achievement, sport activity status, weekly sport duration, effective factors in sport choice, sport type and duration. As for the attitudes towards technology use, female individuals were seen higher than the male participants at daytime education compared to the evening education program. Though there seemed no significant difference in terms of doing sport that the individuals who do not sport have higher scores than the individuals who do sport attracts attention. The use of technology in education is considered to contribute to students' professional developments, obtaining information from diverse sources and having ideas about different subjects and methods. In order to enhance students' interest into technology use in education, technology can be used more effectively; seminars which offer certificates can be provided and technology based courses at the departments can be included in the curriculum.
