Abstract (EN)

Entrepreneurship is a phenomenon that takes responsibility for building a business, takes risks, pursues innovation, pursues opportunities to produce products and services, and creates value. Personality is shaped by internal and external environment. Personality is a trait that both embodies human-specific characteristics and distinguishes those characteristics from others. The aim of this study is to determine whether the entrepreneurial personality characteristics of students studying at Batman University (Risk taking, innovation, success need, tolerance to uncertainty and locus of control) have an impact on entrepreneurship tendency. The population of the study is Batman University (first and second instruction) and easy survey was used. This survey was applied to determine the personality traits affecting entrepreneurship intention. A total of 915 students (425 male and 490 female) participated in the survey. The data obtained from the survey were analyzed and interpreted through SPSS program. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the personality traits of entrepreneurs have a significant effect on risk taking, innovation, success need, locus of control and tolerance to uncertainty.
