Üniversite öğrencilerinin iletişim becerileri ile yeni medya okuryazarlık becerileri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi

This study aims to examine the relationship between communication skills of university students and new media literacy skills. The scales are distributed to students in printed form. The sample of the study includes 248 participants. The sample of the research 1st, 2nd, 3rd. and 4th-year undergraduate students. The Communication Skills Scale is employed to determine the communication levels of the students. The New Media Literacy Scale is used to determine the new media literacy levels of the students. According to the findings, female students score higher than male students in the communication principles and basic skills sub-dimension in the Communication Skills Scale. No significant relationship is found between genders in the New Media Literacy Scale. Finally, a statistically meaningful positive correlation is found between all sub-dimensions of the Communication Skills Scale and the sub-dimensions of the New Media Literacy Scale.
