Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study; The study of subjective well-being level of university students according to selected variables, especially sports. Material and method; In this study, the population of the research consists of students studying at Bayburt University in the 2021-2022 academic year. The sample group, on the other hand, consists of a total of 385 students aged between 18-24, who grew up in fragmented and unbroken families determined by appropriate sampling in this universe, and who play sports or not. In the study, two separate data collections are the personal information form consisting of 7 questions including the demographic information of the participants and the "Subjective well-being scale" consisting of 46 questions, developed by Tuzgöl Dost, M. (2005) to determine the subjective well-being levels of the participants. tool was used. Statistical analysis; The raw data obtained were arranged in Microsoft Excel for statistical processing. Normality tests were performed by transferring them to the SPSS statistical program. It was determined that the data showed a normal distribution (p=.195). In the analysis of the data, Inthependent t and One Way Anova tests were used to compare the means of independent groups. As a result of the analyzes, it was understood that there was a statistically significant difference in the subjective well-being scale mean score of the participants according to the gender and income status of the family, while the variables of the family's coexistence, parental education level, sports habit and type of sports did not significantly affect the subjective well-being of the participants. As a result, it can be said that the gender and the financial income of the family affect the subjective well-being of university students. Keywords: Sport, fragmented family, subjective well-being.
