Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between university students' leisure satisfaction and health perception levels. In the research, "Descriptive (Figurative) and Relational Search Model" was used. The universe of the study consists of students studying at Bartın University, Faculty of Sport Sciences. The sample group of the study consists of a total of 370 participants (165 women and 205 men) studying in the 2019- 2020 academic year and selected by random selection from the universe. As a data collection tool, created by the researcher and consultant personal information form, "Leisure Satisfaction Scale (LSS)" and "Perception of Health Scale (PHS)" were used. The data were analyzed in the "SPSS 23.0" program. Frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean and standard deviation for demographic variables, T-test and ANOVA for differentiation status, Correlation test for relationship status were used. In addition, TUKEY test was used to determine differences between groups. The significance level was evaluated as (p<0,05) in all analyzes for the study. According to the research findings; leisure satisfaction and health perception levels of the participants do not differ in terms of gender, department, class, education type, and frequency of participating in weekly leisure activities variables. There is no relationship in any sub-dimension depending on the age variable. In the "Educational" and "Relaxation" subdimensions of the perceived average monthly income variable, a significant difference was found in favor of participants with high income levels. Finally; in the correlation analysis results regarding the relationship between the total scores of the two scales, there is a significant positive correlation between "LSS" and "PHS". There are also positive relationships between sub-dimensions of leisure satisfaction scale and health perception scale. As a result, it was determined that the leisure satisfaction and perceived health levels of the participants differ in terms of the perceived monthly average income variable, while the perceived health levels of the participants increased as their leisure time satisfaction levels increased.
