Investigating the university students' levels of cyberbullying, cybervictimization and cyberbullying sensitivity according to various variables

The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between cyberbullying, cybervictimisation and cyberbullying sensitivity of the students' at the faculty of business. However, whether or not variables of cyberbullying, cybervictimization and the sensitivity of cyberbullying differ according to gender, class level, parents' education status, daily internet usage frequency and the number of social networks used were investigated. The participants of the study consist of 306 students studying at the faculty of business. The cyberbullying inventory for university students and the sensitivity scale for cyberbullying were used in the collection of research data. According to the results of the research while there was a low negative correlation between cyberbullying sensitivity and cyberbullying, there was a low positive correlation between cyberbullying sensitivity and cybervictimization. However, there was a moderate positive correlation between the variables of cybervictimization and cyberbullying. The students' level of cyberbullying significantly differed according to gender, daily internet usage frequency and number of social networks used. The level of cybervictimization significantly differed according to the frequency of daily internet usage and the number of social networks used. The sensitivity levels of cyberbullying significantly differed according to gender and maternal education.
