Smoking, usage of alcohol and drug among university students and the social, cultural and economic processes ? Sakarya University reference??

In this study, the aim is to get information about smoking usage of alcohol and drug among Sakarya University bachelor?s degree students. In this study age, sex, number of brothers or sisters, family and friends effects of using alcohol is searched.This study?s reference is carried out in 2008 at Sakarya University on Engineering Faculty, Science and Literature Faculty and State Coversatory students.The necessary information for this research is gathered from a survey form that consists of 63 questions. The data results that are gathered from the survey are evaluated by SPSS statistic program and from the hypothesis that are prepared previously are tested.According to the data that are found out, there has been a found a meaningful relation about smoking, usage of alcohol and drug between the students? sex, the monthly spending average and their fathers? oral or physical harshness to their children.Family and friend neighbourhood of students take an important role of alcohol usage. There has been found a meaningful relation between mother?s and father?s alcohol usage and the existence of people who are around the student?s friends and who use alcohol.There has been found a meaningful relation between smoking and usage of alcohol.The quarrel rate that the group of students who are drug addicted is much more than the students who are not drug addicted.
