Thesis SPATIAL OF UNIVERSITY BUILDINGS EVALUATION OF THE MEASURES IN TERMS OF PLANNING; SDU FEAS and FACULTY OF MEDICINE ADDITIONAL BUILDING EXAMPLE Said ÖZYURT Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Spatial Planning and Design Supervisor: Prof. Dr. M. Rafet KISTIR December, 2019 People need to learn from their environment from the first moment they are born. The need for learning that begins with walking, eating, and so on continues with education and training. While the first education and training places of the people become the family home environment, then we see the educational structures divided into many groups. Primary, high school and university structures play an important role in the upbringing and development of people. The most important factor in the efficiency of educational buildings with such an important area is that the architectural features of the building are comfortable. In this study, university structures are emphasized. It is not only an education in the university, it is an effective structure for people to come to a good place in society to develop oneself. In line with this, these spaces should be capable of supporting success in every aspect in raising individuals. Numerical analysis of the spaces that are used for different functions in the faculty structure with 2 different architectural plan schemas has been done and interpreted by examining how the space configuration affects these spaces.
