Abstract (EN)

A novel uranyl (UO22+) ion-imprinted polymer containing methacrylic acid monomer and obtained monomer from 1- (2-Aminophenyl) pyrrole and methacryloyl chloride was synthesized and characterized. The synthesized imprinted polymer was used as an adsorbent for enrichment of uranium by solid phase extraction and determined optimum experimental conditions. Determined conditions for PMDU imprinted polymer were; pH: 5, eluent type: 3 M HClO4, eluent flow rate: 1 mL.min-1, sample flow rate: 1 mL.min-1, eluent volume: 20 mL and sample volume: 750 mL. Uranium measurements were made with UV-VIS spectrometer. Detection limit, enrichment factor and adsorption capacity of the developed method were found 0.95 μg.L-1, 37.5 and 96.15 mg.g-1, respectively. This synthesized polymer was used in the separation and preconcentration of U(VI) ion in seawater samples. At the same time, developed method were applied standard reference material (SRM) samples for validation and U(VI) ion was determined quantitatively.
