Abstract (EN)
Logistics is a total of planning including all the products and services, organization, transportation and management activities. Concept of logisticswas born in the military and industrial management in 1960. Logistics is themovement material and personnel support for the military. In the functionaldefininiton of logistics is a combination of inventory management, supply, production, transportation, distribution, concepts. In firms, logistics is a systemwhich is interested in production, inventory control, distribution and otherfunction as a whole. This study examines the concept of the logistics.Production-distribution-inventory problems which are in logistics problems aresearched and recent studies about this subject are examined carefully. Forsolutions of production-distribution- inventory problems an algorithm isproposed solve workbench problems. The model is solved by a metaheuristicalgorithm namely Simulated Annealing. It is coded Pascal programming. Thenthe effectiveness of algorithm is investigated by running problems of differentsizes.Science Code : 906Key Words : Logistic, production distribution problems, simulatedannealing.Page Number : 130Adviser : Prof.Dr. Serpil Erol
