Production can be defined as making a difference which increases its valueon a physical object or to transform raw or sub materials to the products byengineers.Production management is stated as combining machines,materials andlabour sources to produce products with determinated quantity which wantedto be certain quality,certain time and possibly with minimum cost. Inproduction management too many systems which MRP, MRPII, ERP areprincipal, are developed.MRPII production management systems which are formed to planactivities in the companies and supply communication between knowledges aredepended on computer nets. In applying this plans and controlling, this database is also used. Today, a lot of firm strive to use this systems. Planning is oneof the methods that is used to prevent source extragance. İn this time mostimportant sources are knowledge and time. If MRPII systems are usedcorrectly; they can be efficent at prevent to use this sources extragance directlyand prevent to waste labour, capital, raw metarial indirectly. That means thatto present ordered product and ordered service to the costumer in ordered timewith suitable cost.One of the software of MRPII system whıch ıs used ın many sector asapparel sector ıs EDS (İnformation Support System)In this project, firstly, production, production systems, MRP(MaterialRequirement Planning), MRPII (Production Resources Planning), apparelsector and the need for knowledge systems of his sector, different softwares thatare used in this sector is explained and by dealing with EDS(InformationSupport System) which is used very common is this sector, how a softwaresupplies facility in working and superiority is tried to be explained.Key Words :1.
