Determination of work measurement, machinery and labor standards and capacity calculation in production industry and applicatons by Türkkablo A.O.

The aim of this thesis is the determination of the business metrics and standards. In the first part is given theoretical knowledge and have been clarified to work measurement technics in production indurstry, machinery and labour standards. In the second part is determined the capacity, kind of capacities, what can be understood "-Theoretical, -normal, and – actual capacity" and capacity planning, In addition it is determined what are the factors for a business to determine its self capacity. In the third and final part, firstly the capacity has been calculated for the copper wire machine at the Telephone Cable Factory in Turkkablo A.O. which are made the applications. Later, the telephone cable factory's stoppings are analyzed in 1984 and preventable and reducible stoppings were examined for the increasing the machinery efficiency and productivity. In conclusion, the work measurements, standards and capacity calculations, and increacing the productivity by the reducing of stoppings are examined in the light of theoretical knowledge, were described in part I and II.
