Abstract (EN)

Reactive dyes out of the provide to shine color,fixing excellent color and easy aplication are used at various industry arms. Due to the chemical stability and low biodegradability of these dyes, conventional biological wastewater treatment systems are inefficient in treating dye wastewater (Aksu,2004). In recent years, a number of studies have focused on some microorganisms which are able to biodegrade or to bioaccumulate azo dyes in wastewaters. Both living and dead (heat killed, dried, acid and/or otherwise chemically treated) biomass can be used to remove hazardous organics,but maintaining a viable biomass during adsorption is difficult, because it requires a continuous supply of nutrients and avoidance of organic toxicity to the microorganisms. The use of dead microbial cells in biosorption is more advantageous for water treatment in that dead organisms are not affected by toxic wastes, they do not require a continuous supply of nutrients and they can be regenerated and reused for many cycles.The mechanism of binding by inactivated biomass may depend on the chemical nature of pollutant (species, size, ionic charge), type of biomass, its preparation and its specific surface properties and environmental conditions (pH, temperature, ionic strength, existence of competing organic or inorganic ligands in solution) (Banat vd., 1996).In this study; were carried researched on the way of biosorption method and optimum condition that dyestuffs are Reactive Blue 19 (RB19), Reactive Red 198 (RR198), Reactive Yellow 145 (RY145) with dried biomass of Ureolytic Mixed Microorganism Culture (UMC) that in domestic wastwewater and various industries wastwater. With this purpose; initial dyestuff concentration (30-50-75-100-150 mg/l), amount of biomass (0,2 - 0,5 - 1,0 -2,0 g), temperature ( 20-35-50 oC), pH(2-3-5-7-9) and operation time(1-5-10-20-30-60-120 dk) effect on capacity of dye removal. Reaction kinetics and isotherm studies were realized used to the experimental data. Keywords: Reactive dyestuffs, Biosorption, Urolytic microorganism, Kinetic.
