Abstract (EN)
This study includes Turkish music education, sociology, style, repertoire and the principles of frustration and music science. The aim of this study is to identify the frustrations which are encountered during the style and repertoire courses offered at conservatory departments of the universities that offer classical Turkish music education, to examine proposals for solutions, to investigate the points of views and opinions of the students and lecturers about such frustrations. With regard to its subject and contents, this study is original and innovative in its solutions to eliminate frustrations encountered during style and repertoire classes and it will set an example for frustrations that could arise in other classes in this field. It is also notable in that it makes use of the methods and techniques of social psychology and statistics. The study, titled frustrations that affect the levels of success of students that attend style and repertoire classes is limited to the state conservatories of five universities that offer Turkish music education. It is a descriptive study in which qualitative methods are used and which is based on screening model. As a result of the study, data prepared according to the sub problems are processed. Education, the subject of music education and Turkish music education, information about the subject of style and repertoire, content of this class and how this class is taught, information about frustration, relation between social psychology and music education, what the frustrations that come up during achieving the aim of this class are, assessment of the data, these are mentioned in the study. Contributing to the field of study, original and new work on the subject is considered to be supported.
