Abstract (EN)
Photon-induced reactions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) provide very clean channels for both testing the predictions of the standard model and investigation of the new physics beyond the standard model. In this thesis, pair and single top quark production processes gamma gamma -> t anti-t and gamma q -> t W in photon-photon and photon-proton collisions at the LHC have been investigated. Production potential of the heaviest known particle top quark via photon-induced reactions at the LHC has been examined.
