Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the exponential function method was examined. This method allows to find exact solutions of the nonlinear partial differential equations. The exponential function method was applied to the nonlinear Van der Waals equation and Kundu-Eckhaus equation with complex coefficient, respectively. Exact solutions of these equations are obtained by applying the considered method. The exact solutions of the examined equations found by different methods were compared with the exact solutions obtained in this study. In addition, two- and three-dimensional graphs are drawn to determine the physical behavior of the new exact solutions of the Van der Waals equation and the Kundu-Eckhaus equation with complex coefficients.
