Architectural arrangements in the adaptable house: Example of Eryaman Mass Housing

Yukarıda belirtilen unsurların incelendiği tez kapsamında birinci bölümde, genel bir giriş yapılarak konu tanıtılıp; amaçlar, kapsam ve çalışmada kullanılan yöntemler anlatılmaktadır. İkinci bölümde, ilk olarak, konuyla ilgili temel bilgiler aktarılmaktadır. Engelli tanımı yapılmakta, engelliler sınıflandırılmakta ve engellilik nedenleri açıklanmaktadır. Yaşlı ve yaşlılık tanımlanıp; yaşlılığa bağlı engellilik nedenleri belirtilmektedir. Bu bölümde ayrıca; uyarlanabilir konut tanımı yapılmaktadır. Üçüncü bölümde, engellilerin ve yaşlıların sorunları ele alınmaktadır. Yaşlıların barınma sorunları anlatılmakta ve bunların çözümüne yönelik yapı örnekleri verilmektedir. Dördüncü bölümde, kamu yapılarında ve konutlarda engelliler ve yaşlılar için mimari düzenlemeler incelenmektedir. Dünya' da ve Türkiye'deki kamu yapılarında ve konutlarda engellilere ve yaşlılara yönelik mekansal çözüm örnekleri sunulmaktadır. Beşinci bölümde, uyarlanabilir konutlardaki mimari düzenlemeler incelenmektedir ve uyarlanabilir konut örnekleri sunulmaktadır. Altıncı bölümde, bir önceki bölümde incelenen uyarlanabilir konut tasarım özellikleri Ankara-Eryaman 5. Etap Toplu Konut Alanı örneği üzerinde irdelenmektedir.wide range and peculiar needs of the individuals. The adaptable residence approach must be studied in accordance with such purposes. With the scope of the thesis in which the aforementioned isues are studied, the subject is given in an overall introduction, and the objectives, scope and methods used in this study are described in the first chapter. In the second chapter, the basic information on the matter is given the first place. The definition of a handicapped individual is given, the handicapped are classified, and the causes of the handicappedness depending on old age given. In this chapter, adaptable residence is defined as well. In the third chapter, the problems of the handicapped and old are handled. The problems of accomodation of the old are described and building examples are given for the settlement of such problems. In the fourth chapter, the architectural arrangements for the handicapped and the old in the public buildings and residences are studied. Examples of spatial solution for the handicapped and the old in the public buildings and residences in the world and in Turkey are introduced. In the fifth chapter, architectural arrangements in the adaptable residences are studied and examples of adaptable residences are introduced. In the sixth chapter, the designing features of the adaptable residence which has been studied in the preceding chapter are discussed on the Fifth Stage of Mass Housing in Eryaman, Ankara, Which is being constructed by the Mass Housing Administration of the Prime Ministry.
