Developments in information technologies have changed the tools and equipment used by translators. This situation has caused information technologies to find a place in translator training. Applied English Translation programs, which are two-year associate degree programs, have also been affected by this change. This study aims to describe the place of information technologies in Applied English Translation programs within the context of what, where, and how lecturers teach and how they evaluate their students. In this way, technology lessons in different Applied English Translation programs were examined in detail. It was aimed that the data obtained from this research would be a road map for the lecturers who want to give lectures in this field. In this context, firstly, courses on basic information technologies and information technologies for translators in the curriculum of Applied English Translation programs were examined using the document analysis method. Then the lecturers who teach translation technologies in Applied English Translation programs were interviewed. An unstructured interview approach was used in the interviews. The theoretical background of the study was classified as approaches to training translators for information technologies within the context of what is taught, where it is taught, how lecturers teach it, and how they evaluate students. Approaches of different researchers on this subject were discussed according to this classification.
