Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACT Altun Yaruk, a sutra belonging to Mahayana Buddhism, consists of Buddha's sermons. It was originally in the Sanskrit language and in the 10th century it was was translated from Chinese to Uygur by Şıñko Şeli Tutuñ. The most comprehensive copy of the work is kept in Petersburg. Moreover, there are many fragments belonging to tens of copies in Berlin Turfan archives. This study belongs to Altun Yaruk in Uighur and contains the transliterations, transcriptions and directories of 50 documents protected in Berlin Turfan archives. In addition, these documents were also compared with the Radloff-Malov version of the Petersburg manuscript. This thesis consists of four parts, which are Introduction, Text, Index and Facsimile respectively. Key-words: Old Uighur, Golden Light, Buddhism, Şıñko Şeli Tutuñ
