Abstract (EN)

Aim: The aim of this study was to examine there lationships between cognitive skills such as attention disorder, selective attention, continuous attention, reasoning ability, reaction time before and after treatment in patients with Osas and any sleep disorders, serebral lateralization control (CPAP). Materials and Methods: Our study was conducted among 41 healthy and voluntary individuals with no age limit. CPAP before and after using psychometric tests in the laboratory, including cognitive ability, which muhakame ability test (SPMIQ), reaction time Test (RTms) react under stresst othe speed-qualitytesting (DT), constant attention, and problem solving (COGyes-Cogno), Selective Attention(SIGNAL) test was applied. Inaddition, BECK Depression Scale, STAI1 (situational anxiety), STAI2 (persistent anxiety) and lateralization survey were applied from psychological surveys. Psychological surveys were performed both before and after CPAP, and tests and surveys were compared. Results: Beck Depression decreased significantly. After treatment, STAI increased by STAI 2 mean decreased after treatment. The correct number of DT increased significantly after treatment. DT duration after treatment decreased significantly in seconds compared to before treatment. RTms decreased after treatment. Aftertreatment, SPM IQ and COG increased compared to before treatment. The correct number of signs after treatment has increased. The SIGNAL time after treatment decreased in seconds compared to before treatment. Conclusion: It has been determined that sleep disorder may have an effect on the higher functions of the brain and that there may be an increase in brain cognitive functions after treatment.
