Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to evaluate the relationship between daily and monthly estimated actual evapotranspiration (ETa) and potential evapotranspiration (ETc) for each crop and to evaluate these relationships. In the study, ETa for the period of May-October 2013 and 2014 was estimated with Landsat 8 OLI-TIRS satellite data using the SEBAL (Surface Energy Balance Algorithm) model; ETc was calculated using the FAO-PM method using climate data obtained at Seferihisar meteorological station. In the results of the study, the R2 values for the relationship between daily ETa and ETc were 0.84 for citrus, 0.86 for grape and 0.85 for olives in 2013, while these values were 0.87, 0.89 and 0.93 respectively in 2014. The RET, which is the ratio of ETa to ETc, is between 0.450.87 in 2014, while it is between 0.53-0.95 for 2013. The maximum monthly ETa and ETc values are 105 mm (citrus) and 192 mm (grape) in 2013; in 2014, it was 115 mm (citrus) and 168 mm (grape). The highest values in both years were seen in July. As a result, the SEBAL model based on the remote sensing data, determined evapotranspiration of citrus, grape and olives, which constitute almost the whole crop pattern of the Seferihisar-Kavakdere Valley.
