Social justice leadership of teachers in the process of distance education

In this study, the social justice leadership levels of teachers in the distance education process were examined according to student opinions. According to the variables of gender, number of siblings, mother and father education level, school type, location of the school, bussed system status, class level, level of participation in the distance education process, the type of device used in the distance education process, the type of connection used, the social justice of the teachers in the distance education process. It was examined whether the levels of leadership differed. This study is a quantitative research conducted with the participation of students studying in the Yerköy district of Yozgat in the 2021-2022 academic year. As a data collection tool, the "Scale of Social Justice Leadership During Distance Education" was developed by the researcher in order to determine the level of social justice leadership of teachers in the distance education process according to the students' opinions. T-test, ANOVA and LSD test were used in the analysis of the data. Kruskal-Wallis Test and Mann-Whitney U Test were also used in the analysis. The validity of the data collection tool was tested with the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and the goodness of fit values obtained as a result of the analysis confirmed the factor structures of the scales. For the reliability of the scale, the Cronbach's alpha coefficient was calculated and determined as .90. As a result of the research, SSJLDE was developed and it was seen that the level of social justice leadership of teachers in the distance education process was high. In the following analyzes, it was observed that there was a difference in the social justice leadership of the teachers in the distance education process according to the variables of the number of siblings, the education level of the father, the location of the school, the level of participation and the type of connection used.
