Making decision in selection of the content developmentin the distance education: AHP aplication

Ever-developing technologies have created new concepts in many fields. By the effect of the systems that have been developed in the fields of education, distance education concept has come into our lives. In time, the distance education concept became a preferred education type in the field of education with the innovations that it brought about. There is a compulsion of deciding in every process that occurs and at every instant of life. For this deciding period, lots of methods have been enhanced. Decision-makers are being led to make the best decision. Meanwhile, in the field of distance education, alternatives have increased with the developed technology. Experiencing a few alternative platforms that developed for one of the most important phases of the distance education, content development, starts a decision – making process. Within this study, an object based PLATFORM SEÇİMİ application which helps during the decision process has been developed. With PLATFORM SEÇİMİ application, Analytic Hierarchy Process(one of the making decision methods in selection of the content development in the distance education methods) is used. With this application, distance education units are provided to choose the best alternative option in accordance with the criteria determined by the content development experts.
