ABSTRACT Master's Thesis The Content Management in Distance Education and A Web Based System Desing Bedirhan BEDİR Dokuz Eylul University Graduate School of Social Sciences Department of Management Information Systems Managment Information Systems Program This study was carried out for the students preparing for the exams to learn the correct and effective use of resources, to have reinforcing content, to find private lesson teachers and to choose among these teachers, and to test themselves by taking the ready exams. Today, there are platforms with very different e-Learning and Learning Management System (LMS) contents. However, thanks to this study, which is different from the existing platforms, it aims to bring the students together with the right and competent tutors, by ensuring that the teachers are controlled by the site administrator or directors, and it also allows the students to watch the course videos and recordings in the area they think they are lacking in this field. It is presented as a system that brings together separate platforms and is designed in accordance with a sustainable trading capacity. The prototype that has been built is a mixed system and is examined under the headings of CMS due to LMS, e-Learning and SCORM packages. SCORM packages require at least 5 from each private tutor. These packages will not only help the student during the registration to the prototype, but also the student will have discovered the competence and expression skills of the teacher he/she wants to take private lessons from.
