Abstract (EN)

Due to the rapid development of technology, today's education and training sys-tem, which has a traditional education system, has also implemented a new method, distance education system, and thus added a new modality to the education system. In this context, the distance education system; It is used effectively in educational institu-tions to respond to technological developments, to meet the need of modern people for self-renewal, to provide equal opportunities and to remove this obstacle in cases where distances may prevent education. It is aimed to evaluate the postgraduate studies pub-lished in Turkey between 2000-2021 in the field of distance education in the context of the basic elements that should be found in scientific research, subject distribution and method features. This study was examined and conducted under the titles of summaries, methods, findings, results and recommendations. Demographic characteristics were analyzed from the stated aspects. In this study, using document analysis, one of the qua-litative research approaches, the findings were interpreted with the content analysis method. Purposeful sampling was used to determine the research group, and "Academic Publication Review Form" was used to collect data. It has been determined that the postgraduate studies included in the research have the basic features of scientific rese-arch. With this study, it has been understood that there is a need for more doctoral the-sis in the field of distance education. Based on the other findings obtained as a result of the research, suggestions for future research are presented.
