Özet (EN)

In this thesis, a remote accessible laboratory has been developed for basic power electronics circuits. The laboratory is composed of two sections named as simulation and real set. In the simulation basic power electronics circuits such as rectifiers (AC-DC converters), converters (DC-DC converters) and inverters (DC-AC converters) have been modeled and then web remote access has been enabled. In the application a DC-DC buck converter has been controlled over the internet. While MatLAB/Simulink program has been used for simulation of power electronics circuits, LabVIEW has been used to design user interface. Bidirectional data transfer between the two programs has been realized continuously by using Simulation Interface Toolkit. A web page presenting lecture notes on basic power electronics has also been developed for the laboratory. Consequently user can take the information, simulate the system and perform the real application about any power electronics topic. It is argued that developed laboratory is useful educational tool for vocational and technical education.
