Determination of effectiveness of distance learning aided and visually emphasized nutrition and osteoporosis education

To determine nutrition and general ostreoposis knowledge of attendees and with the aim of improvement knowledge of distance learning related people in this field, 405 attendees has participated through internet in the cities and districts such as İstanbul, Ankara, Bursa, Izmir, Balıkesir and others. Model was used to investigate the scan.Priorly, data has been collected using registration, pre - test and final test via web site. Attendees have taken pre - test at first and then antteded an education and finally attendees have taken a final test.It was investigated whether there is an important difference between collected data, demographic information, pre-test and final test score.In conclusion of the research, it was found that attendees have poor knowledge on the nutrition and ostreoposis. Also, it was found that remote education will enable increasing knowledge of related people reaching more people, faster and in a more effective way. Finally, it was founded that in nutrition education and nutrition based health problems, it is possible to introduce the subject to the people in a large mass using distance learning technology fastly and economically.
