Abstract (EN)
Lake Sapanca, which is a water resource for Sakarya city and its surrounding, is also an important water resource for industrial water supply and mariculture.Lake Sapanca is one of the lake, that is rarely used as drinking water resource of our country. Because of the natural beauty and closeness to the Istanbul, it subjects to intense structuring.Global warming causes to the climate changes. As a result of there are serious problems in the water resources of the world. In this study, the effects of the global climate change in Turkey and in our world, was analysed. It was emphasised where the Lake Sapanca of this change is.In this study scripts were built between factors of climate and changing lake level of Lake Sapanca. Factors of climate are data like daily avarage raining, daily avarage vaporing, daily avarage relative humidity, daily avarage temperature, daily avarage wind speed, which are taken from Sakarya management of meteorological station. The value of the lake level was taken from the data of the state hydraulic works (DSİ, 32. Branch Office, SAKARYA). These data were compared with the result that was obtained by subjecting to artificial neural network (ANN) under the various scripts and the best model was determined. However, in this study capacity and water quality parameters of the tributary river which nourishes the Lake Sapanca were analysed. The probable effects to the Lake Sapanca were searched.In literature, Previously, there is not a study about estimating of the lake level of the Sapanca Lake and this study has importance for this purpose.
