Abstract (EN)
Target of this study is to synthesize and characterize novel MOF (Metal Organic Framework) structural and/or coordination polymeric vanadium compounds incorporating with 5-aminoisophtalate or iminodiacetate ligands. As a result of successful reactions, two new compounds were obtained and formulated as [V2(OH)4(C6H3(COO)2NH2))3(H2O)2]n and [VO(NH(CH2COO)2)]. The compounds have been partially characterized by determining physical properties, infrared (IR) spectroscopy, manganometric titration, room temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements, elemental analysis (CHNS analysis), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and powder XRD analysis. However, full characterizations of the compounds were not completed because of poor quality and small sized single crystals for single crystal x-ray structure analysis.Hydro/solvotermal synthetic methods have been principally applied during the work. In addition to these methods, microwave synthetic method with specially designed microwave synthesis PTFE container has been also applied to the successful reactions
