Abstract (EN)
In this study, the removal and the recovery of the V(V) with 1,3-didodecyl imidazolium bromide and 1,3-ditetradecyl imidazolium bromide salts as extractants from acidic aqueous solutions were investigated. The parameters affecting the extraction and stripping of the V(V) which are feed phase pH, extractant concentration, phase ratio, extraction time interval, 4-(2-piridylazo) resorcinol (PAR) concentration, stripping phase type and concentration were optimized. In the optimum conditions, the effect of initial V(V) ion concentration and the effect of interferred ions were investigated. As a result, 1,3-ditetradecyl imidazolium bromide salt was identified as more extractive agent compared with 1,3-didodecyl imidazolium bromide salt due to its higher hydrophobicity.
