Abstract (EN)
The Existentialist movement that emerged at a time when human beings had forgotten their existence gave the individual a new attitude by taking it as the center of the philosophy. Existantial philosophy made a fresh view on the difference between essence and existence and claimed that the existence comes before the essence. Therefore, with this discourse they built a new world for the individual. This study focuses on theviews of religion of Kierkegaard and Karl Jaspers, the Teist existential phlisophers and of J.P.Sartre's, one of the Ateist existential phlisophers. But, besides this, it will be tried to reinterpreted the philosophers' teachings of morality and freedom under the "religion". In this context, some issues in philosophers' own specific philosophies are being intended to be analyzed under the light of their religious thoughts. Keywords: Existentialism, Kieerkegaard, Karl Jaspers, J.P.Sartre, Religion, Morality, Freedom.
