Abstract (EN)
In this paper, some specific methods and principles of Variational Calculus and Analysis, which have been practiced in Mechanical Engineering, have been studied. These are Euler Method, Ritz method, Kantrowich and Galerkin methods. Moreover, boundary, subsidiary and continuity conditions of these equations have been investigated along with their solutions. Adopting variational approaches for each method, the best one has been determined in solving the problems of practicing Mechanical Engineering and the results have been explained at the last chapter. Key Words : Variational Method, Euler Method, Rits Method, Kantrowich Method, Galerkin Method
