Ottoman Ambassadors from the Treaty of Vasvar to the Tanzimat Period (1664-1839)

Since its establishment, the Ottoman State has maintained its relations with foreign states for the purposes of peace, congratulations, alliance and trade. Although he allowed to have foreign ambassadors in his own territory since 1454, he started this practice in 1793. In 1793, III. The permanent embassies established during the reign of Selim could not provide the desired benefit and did not last long. However, the re-establishment of permanent embassies took place in 1832 for the second time. This study deals with the ambassadors sent by the Ottoman Empire to foreign countries between the years 1664-1839, the reasons for the departure of these ambassadors, their experiences during the embassy, their observations and the works they wrote about this embassy.
