Vedat Türkali, his works and a different view on the subject of intellectuals

In direction of this aim is analysed concept of intellectual as historical perspective an is tried to show quality of intellectuals interpretion of the world in every breaking times of the world and trying to be taken a place in this process. Here the evaluation of the intellectual externalized the problem of translation. Thus the subject of this thesis is not an issue of reciprocity and interpretation of the concept of mediation in the literature on the inside Turkey. Finally, in Vedat Türkali's novels Bir Gün Tek Başına and Mavi Karanlık, it is aimed to explain the effect of the processes leading to 27 May and 12 September in determining the matrices of the intellectual world. The study aimed at linking Turkish political life with Turkish literature, the reality that novels captured in terms of understanding the period and the people of the period in the studies of political life, carries the characteristics of another kind of archive. In this study, literature was searched as data collection method. First-order sources and second-order sources were read and tagged. There are two important moments in the methodological model to be followed regarding the use of novel in political life studies. The first stage is to determine the scope of the authors and to establish the problematic of the authors of the works discussed in the study. The second stage is the writing stage of the text. At this stage, it is possible to include the novel people in the narrative, to make them talk and to use the novel depictions. This thesis has two pillars: First, the contribution of biographies and novels to the study of political life. The second is to explain the abstract and idealized understanding of the state that underlies the rupture between the universal intellectual and the Turkish intellectual, which appear as two different variants of the Enlightenment. In this context, the thesis reveals the effect of historical and political processes on the intellectuals both with a portrait of Vedat Türkali focusing on the state silhouette in the background and through novels that redesign the existing reality and reveal the inconsistencies and shortcomings of reality. Thus, it has been concluded that the Turkish intellectuals can gain a universal content only if they build a relatively autonomous area connected with the public in the mental and operational field.
