The purpose of this study is to extrapolate and analyze the poetry of the poet Walid Al-Azami, with the aim of identifying his role in Islamic education, especially since the religious aspect occupies a large space in his poetry, as he deals with the Islamic figures who influenced Islamic history with a literary, poetic, and educational perspective that contributes to strengthening the generation's awareness of the predecessors who carried Banner of ancient Islamic civilization. Walid Al-Azami is considered a positive, inspiring model in the field of education and development, and it is important to understand his literary and educational contributions and explain his role in improving Islamic society. To achieve the goal of the study, a comprehensive integrative approach was adopted, including induction, description, analysis, and statistics. Among the most prominent findings of this study is that the character of the Prophet Muhammad - P B U H - has a great presence in Walid's poetry, as his poems documented the details of the Prophet's biography. He was also distinguished by his dealing with many religious, national and societal issues, which reflects the diversity of his interests and education, the deepening of his vision in building society and achieving comprehensive development. Al-Azami also describes intellectual and educational figures who promote Islamic values and principles in society. Anyone who examines his poetry notices his fanaticism toward heritage and his fanaticism towards ancestors in terms of morals and religion. If we had to make an evaluation of the poet, we believe that it would be appropriate to mention him among the third class of poets in Arabic literature.
