Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to measure the health effectiveness of Turkey and European Union Countries by using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), one of the non-parametric effectiveness measurement method. Changes in health performance of Turkey and EU countries by years were observed using the computer programme DEAP Version 2.1. The place of Turkey among EU countries in a 4- year period, including 2007-2010, was tried to be identified and the changes in health performance of each country were specified with Malmquist Index by comparing the effectiveness scores of the countries with the scores of the previous year.
