Video, with its widespread usage, has become a very efficient art tool for contemporary art world. Especially in the second half 1960s, we see television's wide usage, technology's increasing momentum and globalization with its economical, cultural and political aspects as the fundamental elements -both in content and in form- of postmodern art. Video had become and still is the main production tool of postmodern art. Video art has left its mark on the contemporary art's last fifty years.Aerial Perspective in Video Art "Bird?s-eye-view Turkey" project consist of two parts: Thesis and video installation. In thesis part, history of video art, its conceptual framework, cinematographic shot types and shot angles are analyzed. In the video installation, with the help of video art language and bird?s-eye-view shot angle, Turkey's natural beauties, cultural and historical heritage are presented.Key Words:1. Video Art 2.
