Struggle for power in Turkestan in the 8th century and Battle of Talas

Turkestan is a region that has witnessed to many civilizations, has contained many cultures in itself and has been a kind of emporium in the course of its history. Thus, struggles for wealth and power were inevitable in Turkestan. That's why Chineese and Arabs were interested in it as well as Turks. So in this thesis, we will discourse about Turkistan campaigns of Arabs and rise of Turgeshs, who are the first Turks adopt a sedentary life in history of Turks and Su-lu Kagan's success against Arabs and then eventually the Battle of Talas. This thesis that we intend to point to Su-lu Kagan and the Battle of Talas which is last studied in 1998, consists of four episodes. First episode explains geography and the frontiers of Turkestan, second episode explains the marching of Arabs towards Turkestan, third episode explains political presence of Turgeshs and fourth episode explains the Battle of Talas.
