Meclis-i Mebusan elections İn The Vilayat-ı Selase (1908- 1912)

Election is a method used to identify administrators in contemporary democratic regimes.The origin of the elections fort the history of Turkish Democracy goes back to the period of Tanzimat.The first election practices were applied for the establishment of local governments while the first Constitutional Period and the legislative assembly for the establishment of deputies were applied.However,this first trial has been short-lived. In 1908,with the re-proclamation of constitutionalism through the efforts of Committee of Union and Progress,the atmosphere of freedom and independence prevailed throughout the Ottoman Empire.Many ideological ideas and opinions began to be expressed and opposition parties were established.The 1908 elections passed into Turkish Political History as the first election experience in which different political parties competed. Inhabited by many ethnic groups,Ottoman Turkey,outside the boundaries of the state,Kosovo,Salonika and Manastery provinceshave played a significant role in the transition to a constitutional monarchy.The subject of our study is the implementation of the 1908 and 1912 elections and the results,the policies followed by the deputies of the elected deputies
