Abstract (EN)
In this thesis the viola repertoire has been analyzed in an historical manner and the correlation of its instructions with the violin has been examined. Properties of the first etudes of viola repertoire for the viola has been researched investigated. Eleven books and two hundred sixty three etudes written for viola and transcribed from violin are examined in their technical aspects. The instruction books by Campagnoli, Hoffmeister, Bruni, Kreutzer, Rode, Mazas, Palaschko and Fuchs has been selected for the study as the main instructional methods used in the viola education. Etude suggestions are given for the students who desire to improve themselves or learn a new techhnic.
