Abstract (EN)
This research is about the usage of the scales about Traditional Turkish Music in viola teaching and the polyphonic/homophonic approaches about this system which is used in Turkish universities' Education Faculties Fine Arts Education Department The Program of Music Teacher. In this research, some of datas were gathered enquiries from teachers who teach viola and music theory in Education Faculties Fine Arts Education Department the Program of music Teaching, others were gathered with searching method. In conclusion, it has been seen that if Turkish music scales are adapted into the tampered system, it is beneficial for viola teaching and also it has been seen that it is more affective on teaching instrument. Also, the Traditional Turkish Music scales, which are used in viola teaching, were made polyphonic/homophonic for viola-piano and two violas in third, fourth and mixed/original harmonic system approach, so, in this survey in was aimed that to mate research about the studies of harmonizing Turkish and contribute to these studies. Also, it was tried to fix different problems of Traditional Turkish Music and made some suggestion about solving these problems.
